Complexo do Alemão

Complexo do Alemão is situated in the North Zone of Rio de Janeiro and has received quite some news during the last years, most of it negative. 

Things have changed now and are a lot more peaceful today, you can even take a panoramic cable car, connecting the whole the community, to get to know the area from above and admire the beauty of this part of Rio de Janeiro. It is an adventure and an excursion to take a trip with the cable car and get there and then back into the South Zone will be a good half day excursion of around 4-5 hours, or 6 hours including a lunch at the final station of the cable car, Paineiras.

We will take the metro to the central train station of Rio de Janeiro and then a train directly to the first cable car station in Bonsucesso.
